Held on Second Tuesday of each month at  at the CCGMS Clubhouse, 516 West Atlanta Street SE, Marietta, GA 30060

7:00 PM – Start Time
7:00 – 7:45 PM – Speaker or Presentation
7:45 – 8:15 PM –  Mini Auction, Socializing and Refreshments, Door Prize Drawings
8:15 PM – Monthly Business Meeting

How To Use Our Knowledge to Help Educate Our Community: Part II

 

Last month Bill Waggener, a long time educator introduced us to techniques we can use to help educate folks at any level.  From elementary school to adults at the library.

In July we will take that to the next level by training us in hands on techniques for Mineral Identification. It promises to be fun and helpful as we expand our contributions outside of our club.

Don’t forget our Mini Meeting Auctions. 

These are held at all meetings except for September, where the auction won’t be Mini!!  It will be Maxi!!!

Several lots are auctioned off at each regular Member Meeting, which is typically held on the second Tuesday of every month. Our auctions are another way to add to one’s collection, usually at a great price, without having to travel too far, and helps with paying for the club’s operating expenses.
